Forward sealing stainless steel beer faucet. This is Perlick's new faucet. The seal is made by the lever and eliminates exposure of the beer to air. This new model requires less parts and the savings is reflected in the lower price.
Pushing the Perl faucet handle back moves a stainless steel piston, exposing small holes. The turbulence created by beer passing through the holes produces a creamy head. When the handle is released, an internal compression spring moves the piston back, stopping the beer flow.
