I asked Ed for a Bass Clone Recipe and this is what he sent me. I love it!
I throw the grains in while the 5 gallons of water is heating and pull them out at 170 degrees and continue to a boil. Shut off the gas and put in both extracts. Return to a boil and add the bittering hops and starting timing. Add the Fuggles at 20, 15, and 5 minutes remaining as indicated. A Tablespoon of Irish Moss at 10 min. Cool it, siphon it into a primary fermenter leaving a much trub as possible, pitch the yeast as directed on the package and wait.
The transfer to the secondary and bottling is pretty much by the book because I don't know any better. After like 3 weeks at 68 degrees it makes me very happy. Thank you Ed!
