ESB-ish attempt:
Steep grains at 150 degrees for 30 minutes.
Boil for 60 minutes.
Yeast starter made with 12 ounces Malta Goya, 6 ounces sterile water, 11.5 grams Safale S-04 for 12 hours, whole shebang pitched, so this will turn out darker than a traditional ESB.
After 10 days in primary fermenter, specific gravity while racking to secondary was 1.015, a point lower than the ESB style.
