Recipe Notes
Dark, cola colored, a touch of chocolate and a silky oatmeal flavor.
Lots of ingredients and 6.5lbs of grain. A mash tun is recommended.
Mash at 158F for 60 minutes. Batch sparge for 10 minutes.
3.5 gal boil for 60 minutes.
Ferment in primary for 14 days at 72F.
Drinkable in 14 days after bottling, but beer continues to improve over the next 3 or 4 months.
