Recipe Notes
Bring 3 gallons of water to boil
add liquid extract
add dry extract (watch for boil overs)
add 3/4oz bittering hops - boil for 45 min
add 1/2oz flavoring hops - boil for 10 min
add 1 oz aroma hops and Irish Moss - boil for 5 min
cool down to 65 to 75 degrees
poor in fermenter with 3 gallons of 70 degree watter
stir well and aerate the wort
pitch yeast, snap on lid, attach airlock
move to secondary after 4 days.
transfer to bottling bucket after 2 weeks in secondary
devolve dark candy priming sugar in 2 cups of boiling watter then cool to 65-75 degrees
dump into bottling bucket with beer and stir in well
bottle and bottle condition for at least two weeks.
